As a new website nears completion, project teams can become absorbed in visual details such as a spacing difference of 2 pixels while overlooking critical issues: a staging noindex tag left in place, failed form email notifications, or missing 301 redirects from old URLs. These oversights can cause indexing to disappear or inquiries to be lost immediately after launch.

In the JVDS delivery process, every corporate website must pass the following five-dimensional launch acceptance checklist before DNS is switched to the production site:

Acceptance

1. Technical SEO and search-engine accessibility checks—the top priority

  • Remove staging crawl restrictions: Check sitewide <meta name="robots"> tags and /robots.txt. Make sure any Disallow: / or noindex rules added during testing have been fully removed, allowing Googlebot and Baiduspider to crawl core pages normally in production.
  • Use 301 redirects to establish one canonical domain: Confirm that requests to http:// and the domain without www all use a 301 permanent redirect to the single preferred version, https://www.your-domain, to prevent duplicate indexing of multiple versions.
  • Canonical tags and pagination strategy: Check that each core page has the correct self-referencing <link rel="canonical"> tag. Set noindex, follow on news listing pages from page 2 onward and on internal search results to prevent low-value pagination from diluting the homepage's authority.
  • Unique sitewide title, description, and keyword metadata, plus structured data: Check the <title> and <meta name="description"> on the homepage and each service, solution, and case study page. Make sure none are missing, duplicated across the whole site, or burdened with repeated suffixes. Generate a clean sitemap.xml and submit it through search webmaster platforms.

Acceptance

2. Conversion paths and interactive functionality

  • Test the complete inquiry form process: Submit test data from both desktop and mobile. Verify that (1) required-field validation and error messages are clear; (2) attachment format and size limits work; and (3) successful submissions are saved completely to the database, with notifications reaching the sales email inbox or WeCom within seconds.
  • Scan for broken links and test links across devices: Check the navigation, footer, breadcrumbs, case study cards, and article links. Ensure there are no 404 links or leftover links to a staging server IP. On mobile, confirm that telephone links (tel:) and email links (mailto:) open the dialer and email app correctly.

Acceptance

3. Design fidelity, cross-device adaptation, performance, and security

  • Review multiple resolutions and real devices: Check layouts on 1920px and 1440px desktop displays, an iPad, and common iPhone/Android models. Confirm there is no horizontal overflow scrollbar or clipped text.
  • Check DOM structure and static rendering: Use View Source to confirm that carousel components do not output the same HTML paragraphs repeatedly on the server and that statistics modules do not have initial values of 0.
  • HTTPS security and compliance information: Verify a complete SSL certificate chain and no Mixed Content warnings. Check that the footer copyright year, MIIT ICP registration link, privacy policy, and cookie consent dialog all work correctly.
